ResMed AirMini Portable CPAP

ResMed AirMini is a portable Auto CPAP device designed for patients who want clinically proven sleep apnea therapy without the size and weight of a traditional bedside machine. Built on the same therapy algorithms as the AirSense series, AirMini delivers effective treatment in CPAP, AutoSet and AutoSet for Her modes, all inside a palm-sized housing that fits easily in a travel bag or even a handbag.

Ultra-compact, travel-ready CPAP

AirMini weighs around 300 g and measures only about 13.6 × 8.4 × 5.2 cm, making it one of the smallest CPAP machines on the market. Despite its size, it offers a full pressure range of 4–20 cmH₂O and is approved for use on airplanes, so you can continue therapy on long-haul flights and trips without compromise.

Proven AutoSet therapy modes

AirMini includes three therapy modes:

• CPAP: fixed pressure throughout the night.

• AutoSet: automatically adjusts pressure in response to flow limitations, snoring and events.

• AutoSet for Her: an auto-adjusting algorithm tailored to breathing patterns commonly seen in women with OSA.

This allows clinicians to choose the most appropriate mode for each patient while keeping the device simple to use day-to-day.

HumidX™ waterless humidification

Instead of a traditional water chamber, AirMini uses compact HumidX and HumidX Plus cartridges (and HumidX F20 for selected full-face masks). These disposable heat-and-moisture exchangers sit close to the mask and add moisture to the air you breathe, providing comfortable humidification in most climates without carrying distilled water or bulky tanks. Each HumidX cartridge is typically used for up to 30 days after opening.

Compatible mask ecosystem

AirMini is compatible with a specific range of ResMed masks and AirMini-specific setup packs, including:

• AirFit P10 for AirMini (nasal pillows)

• AirFit N30 for AirMini (nasal cradle)

• AirFit N20 / AirTouch N20 (nasal)

• AirFit F20 / AirTouch F20 (full face)

• AirFit F30 (full face)

These masks are designed with special connectors and, where applicable, HumidX compatibility to ensure correct performance and leak management with AirMini.

App control and connectivity

AirMini does not have a built-in display; instead, all comfort and therapy settings are managed via the AirMini app on a compatible smartphone or tablet. The device connects over Bluetooth, allowing you to:

• Adjust comfort options such as ramp time and EPR (expiratory pressure relief)

• View nightly usage data and basic reports

• Access guided setup and troubleshooting information

This keeps the device itself minimal while still giving users clear insight into their therapy.

Quiet and efficient performance

AirMini has a typical sound level of around 29–30 dBA at the device, making it comparable to a soft whisper. It uses approximately 6–7 W of power on average, with an auto-adjusting altitude compensation system and operating pressure range of 4–20 cmH₂O. This combination of low noise, modest power consumption and automatic altitude adjustment makes it suitable for everyday bedroom use and frequent travel.
